Brainiac

Quartetto di stampo synth-punk in chiave revival formatosi a Dayton nel 1992, composto da Tim Taylor (voce, chitarra, tastiere), morto prematuramente in seguito a un incidente avvenuto nel 1997, Juan Monasterio (basso), Tyler Trent (batteria), e John Schmersal (chitarra, tastiere, voce), quest'ultimo subentrato nel 1994 a Michelle Bodine.
Hanno pubblicato tre album in studio: "Smack Bunny Baby" (1993), "Bonsai Superstar" (1994) e il fondamentale "Hissing Prigs In Static Couture" (1996).
