In attesa dell'esordio su disco "Sealed With A Kiss" in uscita il prossimo settembre, gli Alpaca Sports - uno degli emergenti e più validi gruppi scandinavi indie-pop in circolazione - rilasceranno un nuovo 7" alla fine del mese in vista anche dell'imminente approdo in terra inglese per l'Indietracks.
Noi di OndaRock vi diamo la possibilità di ascoltare in anteprima la b-side del singolo: un remix del pezzo "I Was Running" fatta da Tiny Fireflies che ci racconta così il brano:
"When Andreas asked us to contribute a remix for an upcoming Alpaca Sports 7", we were totally thrilled! It was difficult to choose which song, because so many of them are so perfectly arranged..I couldn't think of any way to change them. Ultimately, we picked "I Was Running," because it is such a happy sounding song, but the lyrics reveal some sadness. We wanted to try and change the mood to make it more dreamy, and melancholy..like recalling an old memory. We gave the drums a more synthesized feel, added lots of Roland synth strings to replace the guitars, and even slowed the song down a bit to achieve this. Andreas and the band were very helpful in giving feedback and in the end I think we all agreed we were happy with the result."
