A due anni da "The Agent Intellect", i Protomartyr hanno annunciato il loro primo album per la Domino: si intitolerà "Relatives In Descent" e uscirà il 29 settembre. La produzione è stata affidata a Sonny DiPerri, già al fianco di Animal Collective e Dirty Projectors. Un primo estratto, "A Private Understanding", è ascoltabile sotto all'articolo.
Da settembre la band di Detroit sarà impegnata in tour mondiale che, al momento, non prevede date italiane.
