Sade pubblica una nuova canzone nella compilation "Transa"

Sade torna sulle scene con un nuovo brano, intitolato "Young Lion". Sarà inserito nella compilation “Transa” un “viaggio spirituale che celebra le persone trans”. Nella raccolta, in uscita il 22 novembre, saranno inclusi anche brano di 30 minuti di André 3000 degli Outkast, uno di Moses Sumney che interpreta SOPHIE, una traccia dissotterrata di Pharoah Sanders e decine di altre canzoni di Fleet Foxes, Yaeji, Perfume Genius, L’Rain, Adrianne Lenker, Sam Smith, Beverly Glenn-Copeland e Clairo, tra gli altri.
L’ultimo album pubblicato da Sade Adu, “Soldier Of Love”, risale al 2010.

“Transa” , stilizzato come TRAИƧA , è diviso in otto capitoli: “Womb of the Soul”, “Survival”, “Dark Night”, “Awakening, Grief”, “Acceptance”, “Liberation” e “Reinvention”. Sparse in queste sezioni ci sono collaborazioni e cover di canzoni di oltre 100 artisti, tra cui Jeff Tweedy, Grouper, Hunter Schafer, Julien Baker, Laura Jane Grace, Lee Renaldo, Bartees Strange, Devendra Banhart, Faye Webster, Mary Lattimore, Bill Callahan, Yaya Bey, Julie Byrne, Jlin, Alan Sparhawk dei Low, Kara Jackson, Helado Negro, Cassandra Jenkins e altri.
Per presentarla è stato diffuso un video di Lauren Auder assieme a Wendy & Lisa per la cover di “I Would Die 4 U” di Prince: guardalo qui sotto.
