Si svolgerà a Brighton (UK) tra il 12 e il 14 maggio, la sesta edizione del Great Escape Festival. Due le particolarità della rassegna: non si svolge in un luogo delimitato, ma in decine di club della città, accessibili liberamente dai possessori del biglietto; moltissimi tra i nomi in cartellone non sono universalmente conosciuti ma hanno le potenzialità di ottenere un buon successo in seguito.
Tra i nomi che si sono esibiti al festival da semisconosciuti ed hanno poi acquisito molta più notorietà, troviamo Bat For Lashes, Guillemots, Klaxons, Foals, Laura Marling, These New Puritans, Crystal Castles, Glasvegas, Mumford & Sons, Late Of The Pier.
