Marillion: a luglio il classic album “Misplaced Childhood” remixato da Steven Wilson

“Misplaced Childhood”, il terzo disco dei Marillion, sarà riproposto da Parlophone il 7 luglio 2017 in due edizioni deluxe: un quadruplo LP (180 grammi) con un booklet di 24 pagine e un cofanetto per collezionisti contenente quattro compact disc e un Blu-Ray. Pubblicato in origine nel giugno del 1985, il concept album è tuttora il lavoro di maggior successo della band di Aylesbury: ben due singoli, “Kayleigh” e “Lavender”, raggiunsero infatti la Top 5 nel Regno Unito e un ulteriore 45 giri, “Heart of Lothian”, entrò in classifica al ventinovesimo posto.

La ristampa includerà l’album originale rimasterizzato e un nuovo remix 5.1 realizzato da Steven Wilson, più un concerto inedito registrato in Olanda in cui il gruppo, allora capitanato da Fish, eseguì “Misplaced Childhood” per intero. Troveranno inoltre posto demo, b-side e rarità assortite, tra cui “Lady Nina” sia in versione originale sia in un nuovo remix di Wilson. Il Blu-Ray conterrà un documentario, i video di “Kayleigh”, “Lavender”, “Heart of Lothian” e “Lady Nina”, il nuovo mix surround e il nuovo remaster in alta definizione (96kHz 24 bit).
