R.E.M., ecco “Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982–2011”, una doppia antologia per celebrare la fine

Dopo che lo scorso 21 settembre la notizia dello scioglimento dei R.E.M. apparsa su loro sito ha fatto il giro del mondo in un baleno, la band di Athens  annuncia che il 15 novembre uscirà l'ultima e definitiva raccolta: "R.E.M., Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982 – 2011". L'album è una retrospettiva che ripercorre, per la prima volta, tutta la loro carriera attraverso 40 canzoni: dai pionieristici anni con l'etichetta IRS (dal 1982 al 1987) agli anni con la Warner (dal 1988 al 2011). Ci sarà anche un brano inedito, "We All Go Back To Where We Belong", disponibile in dowload dal 18 ottobre.
