Bruce Springsteen: a giugno esce la raccolta di 7 album "perduti". Ascolta il brano in anteprima "Rain In The River"

Bruce Springsteen apre il suo scrigno di brani inediti e annuncia l’uscita di un’imponente raccolta che riunisce sette album "perduti", per un totale di 83 canzoni, di cui ben 74 mai pubblicate prima. Il progetto, intitolato "Tracks II: The Lost Albums" (Sony Music), sarà disponibile dal 27 giugno e offrirà ai fan un viaggio unico attraverso capitoli finora inesplorati della sua lunga carriera (qui il preorder).
"I "Lost Albums" erano dischi completi, alcuni già mixati, ma mai resi pubblici. Per anni ho suonato questa musica per me stesso e per pochi amici intimi. Ora sono felice di poterla finalmente condividere con voi. Spero che vi piaccia", ha dichiarato Springsteen.

I brani, scritti tra il 1983 e il 2018, fanno parte di sette album inediti: "LA Garage Sessions '83", "Streets of Philadelphia Sessions", "Faithless", "Somewhere North Of Nashville", "Inyo", "Twilight Hours" e "Perfect World".
La raccolta sarà disponibile in edizione limitata nei formati 9 LP, 7 CD e digitale, con un packaging esclusivo per ogni album e un libro rilegato in tessuto di 100 pagine. Il volume include fotografie d’archivio rare, note dettagliate scritte dal saggista Erik Flannigan e una presentazione personale firmata dallo stesso Springsteen.
Sempre il 27 giugno verrà pubblicato anche "Lost And Found: Selections from The Lost Albums", una selezione di 20 brani estratti dalla raccolta, disponibile in formato 2 Lp o 1 cd.
Il primo assaggio di questo tesoro musicale è già disponibile: si tratta di "Rain In The River", brano tratto dall’album "Perfect World" (ascoltalo qui sotto).



Il lavoro di produzione di "The Lost Albums" è stato curato da Springsteen insieme a Ron Aniello, all’ingegnere del suono Rob Lebret e al produttore supervisore Jon Landau, con registrazioni effettuate nei Thrill Hill Recording Studios nel New Jersey. "Poter registrare direttamente in casa ogni volta che volevo mi ha permesso di esplorare una varietà di direzioni musicali diverse", ha raccontato il Boss. Il cofanetto riflette questa libertà creativa con suoni e atmosfere eterogenee: dal progetto per una colonna sonora mai realizzata con "Faithless", ai brani country con pedal steel di "Somewhere North Of Nashville", fino ai racconti ambientati al confine con il Messico in "Inyo" e alle suggestioni noir-orchestrali di "Twilight Hours".
