Intramontabili da mezzo secolo. Dopo aver pubblicato la sua classifica dei migliori album che nel 2026 spegneranno cinquanta candeline, il magazine Ultimate Classic Rock ha selezionato i suoi 40 brani preferiti del 1976 in questa nuova classifica. "L’anno prima dell’esplosione del punk, la vecchia guardia del rock mise in campo una presa di posizione forte e decisa - ricorda il magazine nell'introduzione - Ma, come dimostra la nostra lista, la musica che dominava le cronache verso la fine del decennio stava già iniziando a cambiare corsia, accelerando verso qualcosa di diverso, tra pop, disco, soul, punk, folk e progressive.
