I Placebo annunciano il loro primo box dal vivo: il cofanetto “Placebo live” – Ecco la tracklist

Il 15 dicembre uscirà il cofanetto “Placebo Live”, raccolta delle performance dal vivo di Brian Molko e compagni. Il set include l’album dal vivo registrato “Collapse Into Never: Placebo Live In Europe 2023”, registrato al Low Festival di Benidorm in Spagna, e le raccolte “This Is What You Wanted”, con brani suonati dal vivo dai Placebo in diversi concerti in Messico la scorsa estate, e “Live From The White Room”, session live incentrata sull’ultimo disco “Never Let Me Go“, effettuata agli Studio One di Twickenham, sobborgo di Londra.

Il cofanetto, oltre a brani dall’ultimo disco, conterrà estratti da “Black Market Music”, “Sleeping With Ghosts“, “Battle For The Sun” e “Loud Like Love“, e cover come “Running Up That Hill” di Kate Bush e “Shout” dei Tears For Fears.

“Never Let Me Go“, il più recente album in studio dei Placebo, è uscito nel 2022. Con un suono, che attinge, abrasivo, soprattutto al mondo industrial ed elettroclash, ma anche con un buon range dinamico in grado di offrire alle canzoni un respiro ampio e meno prevedibile rispetto ai due album precedenti. Un disco solido e ispirato, da una parte recupera il piglio beffardo degli esordi e dall’altra si offre di sperimentare una nuova, sfolgorante maturità.

La band inglese è ora ufficialmente un duo composto da Brian Molko e Stefan Olsdal.
