Nel 2014 Rolling Stone ha lanciato Rolling Stone Country e ha inaugurato il nuovo sito con un elenco delle 100 migliori canzoni country. Ora, per celebrare il decimo anniversario di RS Country, il magazine statunitense ha deciso di espandere l'elenco a 200 brani. E partendo dalla domanda “cosa rende grande una canzone country?”, ha selezionato le canzoni che, a suo giudizio, hanno segnato la storia di questo genere musicale: da Hank Williams alla Carter Family, da Johnny Cash a Loretta Lynn, da Merle Haggard a Willie Nelson, Da Dolly Parton a… Beyoncé.
