Il magazine online Consequence inaugura una nuova serie di approfondimenti, intitolata “Year Zero”, che celebra alcuni degli anni più decisivi della cultura pop. E per la prima puntata compie un salto di 25 anni nel passato per stilare la classifica dei “50 migliori album del 2001”, destinati quindi a compiere un quarto di secolo nel corso di questo 2026. “Ci sono gli esordi di Strokes, Gorillaz e Tenacious D; ultimi dischi di artisti come Aaliyah, Fugazi e Unwound; e uscite notevoli tanto per l’indie quanto per il pop da classifica, da The Microphones e Wilco fino a P!nk e Destiny’s Child“, commenta Jonah Krueger nell’introduzione.
